### Introduction

In the realm of Web3 gaming, asset decentralization stands out as a prominent trend. However, market analysis underscores that the most successful Web3 games are the ones that incorporate the Play & Earn concept and effectively gamify investment opportunities.

While the Play & Earn concept spawned successful projects like “Axie Infinity,” the unsustainability of this model became evident when it stopped gaining new players. Its primary value was in earnings that existed only if there were new players and investments. To address this, we are transitioning the Play & Earn model into a Win & Earn model. In this approach, rewards are predominantly based on achievements from a controlled ‘pool’ of tokens that is sustained by a consistent revenue stream. This adaptation maintains the high retention rates from Play & Earn games while ensuring long-term sustainability.

Over 50% of Web3 users aim to earn while playing games or investing in digital assets. Many successful games cater to this by integrating potential earnings into gameplay. For these users, we’ve introduced our meta game. In it, players explore the synergy between staking coins and NFTs, all within the ATE storyline. While the specifics of this meta game are yet to be revealed, it involves NFT characters and drones exploring the ATE world, searching for valuable items.

### Game Economy - Web 2.5

Ascend the End has on-chain and off-chain elements. ATE can be played without a wallet or any connection with the blockchain, so most of the in-game assets are off-chain but the economy is fully on-chain.

For instance, every transaction, whether with crypto or fiat, goes on-chain and redistributes as shown in the tokenomics and revenue stream. Every game asset is convertible to $ASCEND token, and you win $ASCEND for your esports successes as well.

> ATE is in compliance with Steam policy regarding the Web3 games.
